出版物への画像使用許可取得について：３つの事例
日本の出版物などに掲載された画像を、別の出版物に再掲載するために許可を得た三つの事例について報告する。まず、イヴリン・ロースキー教授の『The Last Emperors（最後の皇帝）』という著書のために『内藤湖南全集』に掲載された２枚の写真を、著作権情報センター（社）を通じて許可を得た例についてのべる。次に、『九鬼周造全集』に掲載された図版を、ナラ・ヒロシ先生の『The Structure of Detachment（粋の構造）』に再掲載するために、出版社、岩波書店を通じて許可を受けた例について、そして、最後にカーネギー美術館で開催された「Urban Metamorphosis: One Hundred Views on New Tokyo（都市の外観変化：新東京の百の景観）」という展覧会のカタログに掲載するため、毎日新聞フォトバンクの所有する２枚の写真とその使用権を得た例について報告する。
On Obtaining Permission to Include Images in Publications: 3 Cases.
I will present three different cases involving obtaining permissions to include images in publications. I will first discuss the case in which permission is acquired to reproduce images from Naitō Konan Zenshū through the Copyright Research and Information Center, to be published in Evelyn Rawski's The Last Emperors. Next, I will present the case when permission to reproduce images from Kuki Shūzō Zenshū is obtained through the publisher, Iwanami Shoten, to be published in Hiroshi Nara's The Structure of Detachment. Finally, I will discuss the case in which permission to reproduce photos from the Mainichi Shinbun Photo Bank is obtained for inclusion in the catalog of the exhibition Urban Metamorphosis: One Hundred Views on New Tokyo, held at the Carnegie Museum of Art.
